Global Biorisk Management Institute (GBMI) is honored to announce the annual GBMI Professional Development Training Scholarship for non-US biosafety professionals working to improve biosafety in their home country.
The 2017 award provides assistance to attend the Biosafety and Biosecurity Training Course (BBTC) 13-20 July, 2017 in Ft. Collins, Colorado, USA. Specifically, the scholarship provides full course registration and nine nights lodging at the BBTC conference hotel. Additional expenses, including round trip airfare, visas if required, transportation from Denver International Airport to Ft. Collins, Colorado, any meals not included in course registration, and personal expenses must be paid by the scholarship awardee. GBMI will forward payment for tuition and lodging directly to the BBTC; no funds will be provided to the scholarship awardee.
The GBMI Professional Development Training Scholarship awardee will give a one-hour keynote presentation to BBTC attendees describing the state of biosafety in their home country.
